As part of our Universal Call to Holiness, God asks us to remember those who are in need. Our parish community has several opportunities for you to get involved and help serve the Church both here in this area and around the world.
OUTREACH FUND: On-going, financial support of those in need in our area.
MONTHLY FOOD COLLECTION: The first weekend of the month; donations of nonperishable food items are accepted in our parish hall.
FOOD PANTRY: Thursdays 10:00 AM – 12 Noon (Please call first: 973-786-6631)
MANNA HOUSE: The third Friday of each month; parishioners serving at the ecumenical soup kitchen in Newton.
ANNUAL WALK ON BEHALF OF ETHIOPIAN ORPHANS: Adult parishioners and our parish children walk on behalf of “our adopted” children in Ethiopia, who are being cared for by Mother Teresa’s Missionary Sisters of Charity.
THANKSGIVING FOOD BASKETS: Adult parishioners along with our grade 7 students prepare holiday baskets with food donated by parishioners for our local needy. Additionally, the parish contributes grocery certificates for the purchase of a holiday turkey.
GIVING TREE: Each Advent our parish has the opportunity to purchase gifts for children so that they may enjoy the thrill of a gift for Christmas.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS EYEGLASS COLLECTION: Ongoing; box located in the Church Atrium for your gently used glasses.
CATHOLIC CHARITIES BIN: Ongoing; bin located in church parking lot
